Crucial environmental issues
Today we are faced with one of the biggest environmental crisis in our planet existence. According to recent studies, air pollution caused by carbon emissions is slowly killing about 4.2 million people a year worldwide. Growing energy demand and efforts to combat climate change require a significant increase in low-carbon electricity production.
The pollution of the planet and its constant deterioration are causing disasters. Fossil fuels are depleted and leave behind a strong negative impact on the atmosphere, water and soil. As we cannot continue to rely solely on fossil fuels, we need alternative energies. Renewable energies are becoming increasingly important in our economy.
By burning fossil fuels for economic development, humanity has increased its carbon dioxide emissions. This is one of the reasons for the greenhouse effect and therefore one of the reasons for global warming and climate change. Decarbonization requires an energy transition, which is a structural change that removes carbon from energy production. This is an economic electrification based on pure renewable energies which emits only energy which the earth can absorb.
One of the biggest challenges of an efficient energy transition is the complete decarbonisation of the electricity sector. This can be immediately and competitively achieved thanks to the growing integration of renewable energy in the sectors electricity generation portfolio.
EthaVerse impact and proposed solution

The key to create a greener planet for generations ahead lies in choosing the right combination of technologies and introducing protective procedures to mitigate and monitor potential impacts. This requires a careful assessment of the different impacts and different alternatives in order to avoid unwanted negative consequences and to achieve the most desirable combination of environmental, social and economic benefits.
The use of renewable energy is inevitable as fossil fuels are finite. Investing in clean energy must go hand in hand with energy efficiency and energy saving. Innovative green solutions can fundamentally change the way we produce, store, transport and use energy.
Due to recent technological developments, Web3 has emerged and has made it possible for projects like EthaVerse to create a greater impact with sufficient liquidity. Moreover, participants of our community will not only be greatly incentivized but also would contribute to a great cause for the planet. Governments have failed to address the greatness of the crises our planet is facing, which has forced us to take collective action and create an organization where people’s opinion matter. With targeted policies and investments, clean energy can provide new economic opportunities.
The main focus of our project objective is on transitional change and constant movement towards the ultimate goal of reducing world’s energy consumption. This will be done by backing our treasury by Renewable Energy Credits (also known as Renewable Energy Certificates RECs, GO (Europe), i-REC(Asia, South America),UK REGO (UK)). The renewable energy market was valued at 9.3$ billion in 2020 and is projected to reach 103.3$ billion by 2030. Thus, our community will not only contribute towards cleaner environment but also would benefit substantially from the project investments.
EthaVerse will be using the most rigorous standards possible for renewable energy credits so that they are backwards compatible with whatever becomes the global standard in the future (either through EthaVerse, or another organization).
Furthermore, EthaVerse will be working along with renewable energy organizations focusing on regions with increased carbon pollution as well as communities lacking enough green energy production. The goal will be to increase the aid, awareness and investments in these areas.
EthaVerse DAO
EthaVerse is a decentralized autonomous organization where all community members will take part of the decision-making process concerning the future of the project. By collective mindset and dedication, we are looking to create a massive impact towards greener planet.
In order to integrate this idea, Web3 smart contracts will be used as they can transparently and securely govern transactions on the blockchain infrastructure. Thus, EthaVerse is introducing ETHA tokens which will be backed by RECs in the EthaVerse treasury after gOHM or DAI(to be announced).
ETHA will launch on the Avalanche (AVAX) network introducing staking and bonding rewards to its contributors. All holders of ETHA will be able to participate in any of the policy decisions of the EthaVerse project.
EthaVerse will pioneer with the first ever Renewable energy credits backed DAO that aims to collectively impact the reduction of the world’s fossil fuel energy consumption and take care of our planet for generations to come. Let’s make it happen!
